Hot on the heels of the label's first vinyl outing 'Decodings' released at the end of June 2021, the Buenos Aires based SRIE continues to gain traction with a return to its staple digital release format. The 34th installment of this dynamic label, culminates with the return of 'Albert Chiovenda' and his new 5 track EP entitled "Cycling Memory". SRIE is an esoteric Techno label that has established a highly credible reputation among its peers and fans for their themaric and experimental projects from deep and outer space to the unconcious and conscious state of the human mind. The EP kicks off with "Cycling Memory" - Albert emphasis on the 4 original tracks is texture and hypnotic soundscapes. Drum weight and presence are intentionally recessed and this elevates the subliminal and contorted bleeps and sounds. Track 2 - Japanese producer 'Takaki Itoh' makes his impressive debut on SRIE's perpetual expansion of renowned global artists with a masterfull overhaul of 'Cycling Memory'. Itoh adds new dimentions of hypnosis with sub-atomic bleeps that pan left to right in conjunction with crisp, punchy drums and hi-hats. Track 3 - "Channel Zero" has a different tonal balance. Essentially a minimal structure with degree of tranquility in lieu of an ambient/atmosphereic tone running throughout the majority of the track. Track 4 'The Hour is Thin' returns to the customary bleep cycles with enhanced echo and eq effects alongside low impact shuffling beatrs. To close out this introspective EP - Track 5 'Connective' which is both episodic and futuristic with spacious chords and warped sounds. A mesmerizing track that projects soumnd via neural transmitters like telekinesis.
